When Urgent Care Counts, We Deliver

We offer urgent care services seven days per week, as well as on-site laboratory
and radiology services, to enable the diagnosis, treatment, and management of
urgent medical conditions and minor trauma when a patient’s primary physician is unavailable.

On-Site Laboratory

Our extensive on-site lab is here to assist in getting the results you need so you can leave
with peace of mind.  Our computer-analyzed results for comprehensive metabolic, lipid,
and liver function panels allow for results in less than 20 minutes.  Additional computer-analyzed
results for PT/INR, glucose, hemoglobin, urinalysis, and glycosylated hemoglobin A1c
allow for rapid results and prompt diagnosis and treatment.  Additional on-site testing
includes H. Pylori, strep, mono, pregnancy, and flu.  Other testing, not performed on-site,
will be sent to one of our three reference labs, based upon preference and insurance.

On-Site Real-Time Digital X-Rays

Our in-house digital radiology suite is complete with stat teleradiology interpretation
by a radiologist ensuring real-time results.

Hospitalization & Emergency Care

In the event our treatment team feels the patient requires emergency care or inpatient hospitalization, we
are just across the street from St. Rose Dominican Hospital’s Siena campus.  All admissions will be handled accordingly to your preferences and insurance.  911 services will be used in the event of a true emergency.

Personal Injuries

Advanced Urgent Care provides quality care and comprehensive examinations for individuals who
have been involved in personal injury incidences (such as motor vehicle accidents, animal bites,
slip & fall accidents, etc.). Our team of physicians and providers works closely with other health care
specialists to ensure the best possible outcome from any personal injury circumstance.
Close working relations with our neighboring physical therapy facility helps to advance and speed
recovery, while continuing to provide appropriate oversight during the recovery process.

Work-Related Injuries

Advanced Urgent Care delivers prompt quality medical care in our full-treatment facility while controlling
your costs.  We work closely with case managers to ensure timely referrals and appropriate consultations.  Our staff and physicians provide pre- and post-employment screening, immediate treatment of the injured worker, and strive for early return-to-work by specific compliance with employer modified duty programs.

Occupational Medicine Services

Pre-employment examinations designed for job-specific and employer specifications.  Back-to-work evaluations allow for speedy returns to work.  Services for occupational medicine include drug and
alcohol analysis, respiratory clearance evaluations, DMV physicals, and TB testing.

Patients can access our center through the following:

• Telephone referrals directly from the primary physician’s office
• Triage from the primary physician’s office to Advanced Urgent Care
• Walk-Ins

Zostavax is a vaccine that can help prevent shingles in adults 60 years of age or older.
The same virus that causes chickenpox stays in your body and can later resurface as
shingles – a painful, blistering rash.  Once you reach age 60, the sooner you get vaccinated,
the better your chances of protecting yourself from shingles.  Zostavax cannot be used
to treat shingles, or the nerve pain that may follow once you have it.

Tysabri is a prescription medicine approved for adult patients with relapsing forms of
multiple sclerosis (MS) to slow the worsening disability that is common with MS and decrease
the number of flare-ups.  Tysabri is generally recommended for patients that have not been
helped enough by, or cannot tolerate, another treatment for MS.  Tysabri does not cure MS
and has not been studied for longer than two years or in patients with chronic progressive MS.
